# Terms of Service

Findow is owned and published by Sheik Ahamed ("we"). These terms cover the Findow app for Mac ("the Software") and this website. By downloading, installing or buying the Software, you agree to them.

## 1. Licence

Findow is licensed, not sold. When you buy, you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Software on one Mac at a time. You can move it to another Mac by deactivating it on the first one. The licence is a one-time purchase and includes future updates to the Software for as long as we publish them.

## 2. Free trial

You can use every feature free for 14 days from first launch. After that, a licence is needed to keep using the paid features.

## 3. Purchases and payment

Purchases are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, which handles payment and tax. Your licence key is delivered by email after payment and also appears on the thank-you page. Prices may change, but this doesn't affect licences you already hold.

## 4. Refunds

You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of buying. See the [Refund Policy](https://findowmac.com/refund.html).

## 5. Restrictions

You may not share, resell or publish licence keys, get around licence checks, or reverse engineer the Software except where the law allows it. You may not use the Software to break any law.

## 6. Your windows and work

Findow moves, hides and shows windows when you ask it to, or when you turn on an arranging mode. It never quits apps. You remain responsible for your own work and for saving it.

## 7. No warranty

The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose. It relies on macOS features that Apple may change.

## 8. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about the Software or these terms is limited to what you paid for your licence. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

## 9. Ending your licence

We may revoke a licence that is shared publicly, obtained fraudulently or used against these terms. A refunded licence stops working. You can stop using the Software at any time.

## 10. Changes

We may update the Software and these terms. Material changes will be noted on this website, and continuing to use the Software means you accept them.

## 11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where Sheik Ahamed lives. Consumers keep any rights that local law says cannot be waived.
