# Stash and pin

Tuck a window at the screen edge, or keep one on the side while the rest share the space.

## Stash a window

A stashed window waits at the screen edge and slides out when the pointer touches it.

| Key | Action |
| --- | --- |
| ⌃⌥⇧J | Stash at the left edge |
| ⌃⌥⇧K | Stash at the right edge |
| ⌃⌥⇧L | Bring back stashed windows |

You can also use Stash left and Stash right in the [menu bar panel](https://findowmac.com/menu-bar-panel.html).

## Pin a window to a side

A pinned window keeps a third of the screen, and everything else uses the rest.

| Key | Action |
| --- | --- |
| ⌃⌥⇧I | Pin to the left side |
| ⌃⌥⇧O | Pin to the right side |
