Your setup

# Permissions

What Findow asks macOS for, why, and how to fix a permission that won't stick.

Turn these on from the Permissions tab in Findow's Settings.

| Permission | What it's for | If you say no |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Accessibility | Opening and moving windows, snapping, layouts, minimized windows and the mouse button | Findow can't do its main jobs |
| Screen Recording | Previews, and finding windows on other desktops | No previews, and no windows from other desktops |
| Automation | Reading browser tabs and Finder folders | Workflows still handle apps and windows |

## Screen Recording

Nothing is recorded, and previews stay on your Mac. macOS applies this permission after Findow restarts, so Findow shows a Restart button.

## Automation

Your browser may ask the first time you save a workflow with tabs, or when you turn on tabs in the switcher. macOS asks once for each browser.

## If a permission won't stick

If Findow says to turn on a permission that's already on:

- Open System Settings > Privacy & Security.

- Remove Findow from the list.

- Add it again.

- Restart Findow.
