# Multiple displays

How Findow keeps your layouts when monitors come and go.

## Layouts come back

"Remember layout for each monitor setup" is on by default in Settings > General. When you reconnect a monitor, your windows go back to where they were.

## Switch a workflow by monitor

Open a workflow in Settings > Workflows and turn on "Switch to this when these monitors connect".

## Each display has its own arrangement

Each display and desktop keeps its own arrangement, and each can use its own [grid](https://findowmac.com/your-grid.html).

## Move a window across

- Press ⌃⌥N to send the focused window to your next display.

- In Auto, swapping past the edge of the screen sends the window to the next display.

## Where the switcher appears

In Settings > Switcher, "Show the switcher" can follow the pointer, the current window or the main display.
